This past week I went to Bermuda with my Grandma Alice. Although it was unusually gray and cold, it sure was a welcome change of scenery from snowy Boston! It meant so much to me to spend some quality time with Grandma, time to enjoy the plants and bright colors. Here are some of my favorite images from this week:
I don't know about you guys, but being holed up because of snow has been letting me be a little more productive (after the first day of lounging around anyway). I was going through some images of greener times to hang on my walls, and thought all of you might enjoy some too! I've put a couple up here for purchase. I've printed them on the larger size and love how they look, but I think they'd look great as a set too! It helps to have a little color to look at to help beat the winter blues up here in New England... in between rounds of shoveling at least!
This week I'm contributing to The Essence of Living Locally (T.E.L.L.) New England's instagram feed with a community guide to all my favorite spots around Portsmouth, NH! They are a quarterly online publication that highlights all the awesome things New England has to offer, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share a town that has felt like a second home forever (Hi Grandma!!) Head over there (@tellnewengland) to follow along, and then over to mine (@ellietacy) to see what I've been up to lately.
When Leah and I were kids, we would always gather handfuls of lilacs on the way to school to give to our teachers. We don't have teachers to give them to anymore, but we still love to climb our mom's hilly garden to pick them!
One of my oldest friends came to visit me last weekend (as in, we met in preschool old!) so we decided to do a little back-to-school mini shoot with her beau on the Tufts track. Cause, you know, why not?
And then things got silly because that's what happens when you've known each other forever...
Love you girl! Come back to Boston and be weird with me again soon!
